Nintendo have announced the Nintendo Classic Mini: Nintendo Entertainment System.
The mini retro console will be available in US stores on 11th November for $59.99, with a European date and price to be announced.
The new NES console is a shrunken version of Nintendo’s original hit console and features an HDMI port and 2 controller ports for the new mini controllers which are based on Wii Remote connectors. The controllers can also be used on the Wii and Wii U for Virtual NES games.
It also comes with 30 classic NES games built in. It looks as though they’re using emulation as the games all feature a game save option.
A USB cable is included but an AC adapter, which is not included, is “required” to use the machine. Further controllers are available to purchase separately.
